There are hundreds of people who like nothing better than having a moan and groan over a pint.
Chris Shanahan, who runs the Sportsman pub at Amberley, has decided to do something about it.
He has signed up more than 1,900 people for the Miserable Old Buggers Club. In doing so, he has raised thousands of pounds to help street kids in Romania.
They may look like old miseries but if they can help ease poverty in Eastern Europe, they'll drink to that.
