The story of Sharon Tasker's anger because she cannot get her buggy on the bus (January 29) makes me wonder.
One of the pleasures of having small children in prams was to walk with them. Children a bit older used to walk to school with their parents. Soon we will be taking our dogs on the bus instead of for a romp round the park.
Personally, I used to walk miles with the babies, enjoying the fresh air, not the pollution of traffic.
