What is Brighton and Hove becoming - a den of thieves? Petty theft seems to be taking over. An opportunist thief conned carers at a care home and robbed them. The same week, a member of staff from the same home had her bag stolen while shopping in Brighton.
Women beware - these petty criminals are quick and have accomplices. When theft is reported, there appears to be a backlog of three weeks to renew credit cards, which indicates the enormity of the problem. Surely the police and security personnel in Brighton and Hove need to work more closely to catch these opportunists preying on decent, hard-working people?
