The Argus should ask itself why a third of parents refuse to give their children the MMR vaccine rather than merely spouting the doublespeak of the increasingly untrustworthy medical profession.
I remember, a few years ago, hearing the same stories about the DTP (diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough) vaccine, with exactly the same fear-based arguments being used, and recall other EU countries do not vaccinate for some of these mild natural childhood illnesses, with no change in rates of infection.
A growing number of people are turning to alternatives such as homeopathy and saying no to conventional medicine because of its dangers.
Can't The Argus take a stand on their behalf rather than constantly taking the establishment tablets?
