Having seen the Holiday On Ice show at the Brighton Centre, I fully agree with the complaint by Joyce Edwards concerning flashing lights (The Argus, January 22).
I fail to see what is achieved by temporarily half-blinding members of the audience with these intrusive bright lights.
The fact they are not strobe lights does not make them acceptable when used in this manner and it certainly does not enhance the spectacle - quite the reverse, in fact.
What a pity to mar such a talented show with this over-the-top treatment.
