I was amazed to hear the news that hospitals have misled the government over their lists.

This is known as fiddling the books and, to my mind, is as bad as fraud and should be treated as such. To be given a golden handshake when the people concerned in this matter were asked to leave is beyond my comprehension.

No wonder the NHS Trusts are always running over budget. Maybe it is time to get some people to run the hospitals as they should be run, without the over-paid managerial staff of which there are far too many.
