Christmas Day promenaders in Brighton and Hove could hardly believe their eyes when a couple dressed in Santa outfits cycled past on a tandem and handed them festive cards.
Inside each was a crisp new fiver.
Before the lucky recipients could thank their benefactors, the pair had cycled off into the distance.
