Worthing's players want Barry Lloyd to remain as their manager.

The former Albion boss is currently in caretaker control at Woodside Road following the resignation of Sammy Donnelly.

Lloyd has indicated he wants the job on a more permanent basis and skipper Mark Burt has revealed he has the support of the squad.

Burt said: "We hope he stays, but you can't make people's minds up for them.

"He has got so much knowledge and the team he has inherited has been together for a while, which is helping to get us through games.

"Barry was here when I was in the youth team and having a few run outs as sub for the firsts. I'm impressed by what he has done already."

Lloyd returns from a business trip to the United States to take charge at Harlow in Ryman League division one tomorrow.

His assistant Keith Rowley will select from a squad missing the suspended Andy Alexander.

Striker Simon Funnell (hamstring) is Bognor's only absentee as they bid to regain leadership of the division by beating Bishop's Stortford.

Rocks were knocked off the top by Aylesbury's midweek win at Oxford City but boss Jack Pearce said: "I won't really look at the table until we have played 30 games.

"We have had two good away wins but teams make it difficult for us at home. They come here and sit deeper."

Ryan Andrews (ankle) is Horsham's only absentee as they chase an eighth successive win.

The division two high-flyers tackle Hemel Hempstead with boss John Maggs saying: "We will be looking for nothing less than a win."
