New road safety measures, including lower speed limits and roadside cameras, have been unveiled in West Sussex.
Speed is one of the main causes of accidents on the A24 between Worthing and Horsham and has been a factor in several deaths.
The measures include lowering the speed limit, installing new signs with safety messages and setting up speed cameras.
The two sites that will receive a priority for speed reduction measures are the Dial Post junction and a stretch between Knepp Castle, Buck Barn and Southwater.
Details have been sent to parish councils in the area and they will be invited to a meeting next month.
