Last week's Sunday Times business section had a profile of former Albion chairman Bill Archer, who is one of Britain's most successful businessmen.
Having bought Focus, Do It All, Wickes and Great Mills, he is believed to be considering a flotation of his company that should realise a personal fortune of £300 million.
May I suggest that Albion fans should boycott these stores to show their contempt for Mr Archer's business methods, as demonstrated by his disgraceful sale of the Goldstone ground for a fraction of its true value? Indeed, we should encourage all football supporters to do this.
There are millions of football supporters and, if many of them refused to buy Mr Archer's goods, it would not get our ground back but it might make a serious hole in his £300 million.
