I hope lots of people buy fish and chips at Demetrios Photiou's chippie (The Argus, December 6) and all the others.
It reminded me of when I was a child. Whenever a gale blew, my dear old nan always said: "Pray for the sailors on the sea, little maid."
When we had fish, it was: "Pray for the brave fisherman that caught my fish for tea."
As a fisho-holic, I have always done this and am a granny myself now.
