It's a pity Brighton and Hove City Council does not use our taxes better ("Seafront promenade cyclist fined", City News, December 2001).
What about fining people who allow dogs to mess the promenade and beach?
If dogs are allowed on the promenade and beach, why not a careful cyclist like myself?
