Labour MP Des Turner is supporting moves to let mothers breastfeed in the House of Commons.
He has signed a motion saying no MPs should be prevented from taking part in Commons business.
Dr Turner, MP for Brighton Kemp Town, said there were significant benefits to mothers and babies through breastfeeding.
