I am 84 years old and was walking along the far end of Western Road on my way to Churchill Square, Brighton, last Sunday morning when I tripped and suffered a very bad fall.
Two ladies immediately tried as hard as they could to make me comfortable.
They even phoned my son to tell him of the accident.
I could not get up and, on the advice of a gentleman first-aider, went in an ambulance to hospital.
These three people were so kind and sympathetic I would like to tell them how very grateful I am.
I subsequently found I had cracked my shoulder bone.
