A man was killed when his car overturned on a quiet country road in West Sussex.
Police have not named the driver, whose vehicle crashed near Ford Road, close to Ford railway station.
Firefighters used rescue equipment to free the man from the wreckage shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday. He was trapped for more than 30 minutes.
The man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon afterwards.
Police were yesterday trying to trace his relatives.
Three passengers in the car - two girls aged 16 and 19 and a man of 27 - were taken to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, with injuries said to be serious but not life threatening.
The 24-year-old driver, who has still to be formally identified, is believed to have come from Worthing.
