I enjoyed watching the film The Poseidon Adventure on TV again but found it a bit unrealistic. If Gene Hackman (the Reverend Frank Scott) had really jumped on to the ship to turn it, his hands would have been burnt by steam and he wouldn't have been able to hold on because of the pain.
