An East Sussex man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal road collision.
The 21-year-old was arrested yesterday after a man died in the incident in the Endwell Road area of Bexhill.
Police believe the 59-year-old married man from Bexhill, who has not been named, was hit by a dark-coloured car.
The vehicle, which contained a man and a woman, did not stop after the incident at about 2.30am yesterday. Police were yesterday examining a Vauxhall car found in Bexhill.
A post-mortem examination was expected to be held later today.
