It seems almost every day we hear about how teenagers spend their time causing aggravation in their communities and turn their hands to crime and violence.
I would just like to congratulate a group of teenagers who attend the youth group attached to St Luke's Church, Prestonville, in Brighton. On Saturday, July 7, they organised, staged and performed in a talent night to raise money for children in Africa suffering as a result of Aids/HIV. Their efforts not only resulted in a great community event, they also raised over #794, which will be forwarded to Aids charities working in Africa.
Let's recognise there are thousands of young people in our city who use their time to make a difference in our world.
Not everything young people are involved in is negative.
