A man who died after being hit by a car may have been killed deliberately.
Police have not ruled out the possibilty that the 59 year old married man from Bexhill was involved in a road rage incident.
The incident took place in the Witten Road/Endwell Road area of bexhill early this morning.
He is believed to have been knocked down by a dark coloured car containing a man and woman who did not stop and drove away.
Hastings police are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen the incident which took place at around 2.30am.
A Vauxhall car found in Bexhill was being examined by police yesterday, who believe it may have been involved in the incident.
