This is the man who indecently assaulted a teenage girl in the street.

He had been loitering around a primary school before luring the 14-year-old girl and assaulting her.

The teenager was walking home after playing with friends when she was attacked in Telscombe Cliffs Way, Telscombe Cliffs.

The man, who was standing outside Telscombe Cliffs County Primary School, asked her the time before assaulting her.

He fled towards Park Avenue when a man appeared in the street walking his dog.

Detectives believe the attacker may have run towards a car left parked in the avenue with its engine running and lights on.

Detective Constable Neil Dean said: "It is possible this could have been an attempted abduction if the car was involved. There could have been another person in it."

The attack happened on Monday April 23 at 8pm but no witnesses have come forward.

Mr Dean said he was particularly anxious to trace the dog-walker.

The attacker was 5ft 8in tall, in his late 40s, of medium build with grey and brown hair, cropped at the front.

He was clean shaven and wore a dark blue woollen jumper, dark trousers and a gold hoop in his left ear.
