Wheelchair tennis ace Kimberley Dell has picked up FOUR national trophies.

The 20-year-old from Eastbourne has won the National Association singles and doubles titles at Sheffield.

She has also been voted the Association's player-of-the-year and lifted the Dan Maskell Cup for the players' player-of-the-year.

Kimberly said: "I'm chuffed to bits with it all.

"I'm the first woman to get the Association's award and was delighted to prove myself better than all the men! I'm very flattered to get the Dan Maskell Cup. That is really something when fellow players pick you."

Kimberly, who was Britain's most successful female competitor at the Paralympic Games in Sydney last year, underlined her domination by carrying off the singles prize with a 6-4, 6-1 final defeat of Kaye Foreshaw (Birmingham).

She teamed up with Foreshaw to overcome Diana Bowles and Christine Smith by the same scoreline. Kimberly said: "I was happy with my form but I still want to get better."

She travels to Birmingham next week to train with Foreshaw before flying out for the Roosevelt Cup in Alabama in the United States.

Kimberly has cracked the world top ten and grabbed the British No.1 spot in the last 12 months.

She said: "I seem to have gone up a level over the last year.

"The sport has brought me so much satisfaction. I'd have never seen the world without it. I owe tennis, my parents and sponsors a lot. I appreciate everyone's efforts have got me where I am."
