Ronald Biggs has arrived back in this country. For 35 years he has taken the "you know what" out of the United Kingdom's failure to extradite him from Brazil.

Now he is back, of his own free will and with the help of a tabloid newspaper. Are we really expected to house him (in prison), feed him and pay his medical costs?

I reckon we, as a nation, have saved a few bob with Mr Biggs being in exile. Could we not send a few more criminals on a one-way journey to oblivion? Hang on a minute - didn't someone think of this once before?
