I am sure countless others know what Ian James (Opinion, March 16) means about costly housing.
My daughter and her husband are also thinking about leaving Brighton and Hove because they cannot afford to buy here.
If they stay and rent they won't be able to save because rents are so high.
I believe I read recently that to encourage health care workers into the city they would be offered help with buying a home.
My daughter, who was born, raised and educated here - as were her husband and countless others - has to think about moving away, yet has as much right as anyone to remain where she has always lived.
Would she be considered for cheaper housing if she were to become a nurse? Does this mean a nurse can be considered for this help should he or she want to settle here?
