I watched a programme on TV about stag hunting and the people who take part. I have never seen anything so barbaric and horrible.

I could not stop watching as I could not believe what some "human" beings call sport: A magnificent animal chased for hours until exhausted the dogs swarming all over it before the so-called master of the hunt arrives to kill it with a shotgun.

This sometimes fails and an even more frightened and wounded animal makes one final bid for freedom but is doomed and eventually killed.

The programme was made by the League Against Cruel Sports, so the coverage was going to be from that perspective.

The man filming the events was attacked and repeatedly stopped from filming so we could not see what happened.

But he was brave and kept on because he believed in what he was doing.

I hope that many people watched it especially the people who supposedly represent us in Government, because I could not see how anyone could allow this to carry on a moment longer.
