Plans for this year's Pride, the flamboyant Brighton gay and lesbian celebration, have been unveiled.
The theme for this year's event is Myths and Legends and revellers will be expected to dress accordingly.
A number of top acts are being booked for the Pride party in Preston Park and there will be dance tents, a funfair and a market.
More than 50,000 people attended Pride last year, raising £14,000 for voluntary groups.
Project manager Jamie Jones said: "The parade will be the most colourful and spectacular Brighton and Hove has ever seen."
The event is on August 11, starting at 11am with a parade from Madeira Drive through the centre of the city to Preston Park for the Pride Party, which starts at 1pm.
