The Government has announced plans to establish a task force to make computer-related careers more attractive.
The move follows research showing 50 per cent of men in the UK have used the internet but only 40 per cent of women have logged on.
The working party will look at ways to help women, and men, increase their information and communi-cations technology skills to enhance their prospects of employment.
