Gatwick Airport has scooped the Best UK Airport award for the sixth time.
It was voted the winner of one of the annual Travel Weekly's Globe awards by members of the industry.
Gatwick airport operations director David Cumming said he was delighted to receive the award on behalf of the airport.
He said: "With more than 31 million passengers a year travelling through the airport, we will not become complacent.
"This year we will continue to focus on providing high-quality customer service and to invest in new facilities to make sure the Gatwick experience is user-friendly and efficient for everyone."
The airport recently unveiled a £94 million investment programme at the North Terminal.
