With Labour's propaganda machine in feverish overdrive, election bribes and gimmicks are now raining down on us like pennies from heaven.
What we do not hear is that Labour has increased the tax burden from 37.6 per cent of GDP in 1996/97 to 40 per cent now.
In other words, taxes have been increased by £25 billion.
But, despite this mind-boggling sum taken from our pockets, what do we see daily with our own eyes?
Rising crime, lack of police, transport chaos, dirty hospitals, longer waiting lists, teacher and nurse shortages.
The hard-sell antics of Blair and his spin doctors would give a bad name to the shiftiest of second hand car salesmen!
