I have made my New Year resolution. I have decided to walk away from people who do the following things:

a) Say "pee" instead of "pence";

b) Say "Cheers!" when there's no drink in sight;

c) Irritate me with two negatives in a sentence. Will people never learn that "I shan't never go there" means they will go there?

I am also tempted to react similarly to the growing number of people who now omit the letter "t", eg. "I sa' on the se'ee". There are other examples of how people are destroying our beautiful language.
