Police are appealing for information after the body of a man was found at an address on Tuesday night.
A post mortem was being held last night after the body believed to be of Michael Dennis Turner, 48, was discovered at his home in Albert Road, Polegate.
It is believed he may have been dead for some time although a cause of death has not yet been established.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Turner, during or after Friday December 8.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "At the moment we are keeping an open mind into the cause of death."
