I am in total agreement with Chrissie Earl (Opinion, December 11). Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company is without doubt the worst run public service I have ever encountered.

My local bus service, route 81, is never on time, often doesn't come and has been completely cut on Sunday evenings; and now, a 25 per cent increase in fares. I am unable to comprehend how this can be justified.

If the bus company had not wasted so much money signwriting the buses with famous names, it would have more to spend on getting the service up to an acceptable standard.

We passengers would just like the correct bus at the correct time and really couldn't care what its name is! Not much to ask is it?
