I would say Falmer Parish Council is clutching at straws (Argus, December 6). The proposed stadium site is large enough, as the finest architects will testify. Brighton and Hove Albion have also perfected an excellent park and ride system and, with the help of the close-by train station, transport to and from the ground will be no hardship.
Hardly fair to compare this with the Essential Music Festival held at Stanmer Park, which no doubt Councillor Huxham and his fellow cronies attended to obtain their first-hand knowledge.
No, councillors, this stadium should be built, will be built and future generations are going to enjoy the events after it is built.
