Either Warren Morgan (Opinion, December 5) takes Millbank briefing sheets to bed with him or he believes the lies being put around by Labour strategists. His claims about the Conservative Party agenda for our next government are plain rubbish.
William Hague and Michael Portillo have explained in detail their plans to cut back Labour waste and misuse of public funds. They have said they will maintain the Government's commitment to increase funds for the NHS and education while returning the people's money to the people who earn it.
I suggest if the Labour Party is going to wage a dirty war of lies and scare stories in the run-up to the election, the result will be an ever greater disillusionment among voters and a low turnout. For all our sakes, let's have debates based on facts, shall we?
