Our Hove Phab 62 Club members went for their Christmas dinner to Shoreham.
The time was spoiled, however, because one member in a wheelchair was unable to come owing to no wheelchair taxi being available, in spite of one having been ordered the previous day.
The lady concerned has had trouble with taxis before.
It seems some drivers do not want to be bothered with disabled people. The result in this case is that the lady concerned has missed out on a special occasion.
