If anything demonstrates that zero tolerance of graffiti is needed in Brighton and Hove rather than some kind of informal toleration, it is the recent daubing of homes in Hove following the completion of a graffiti design project in Hangleton (Argus, November 10).
Perhaps now graffiti will no longer be viewed as some sort of community art but one of the on-going problems of decay Brighton and Hove Council, under the present Labour administration, seem unable to contain.
-Councillor Brian Oxley, Westbourne Ward, Hove
