Resting on our shoulders in 1940 was the determination and courage to never surrender to Hitler. It was England's greatest hour. In this little island was placed the destiny of the world. This must never be forgotten.
If we had followed France and surrendered, even the massive power of America would have been useless and Hitler would have won. What a world this would have been then! I was one of those soldiers. Please remember England's greatest hours.
