If travellers want a proper site, Brighton and Hove Council should give them one.

It should also be council-run and there should be a fee per caravan. Rates should be charged for water supply and rubbish collection.

If they want to move around, let them move to other council-run sites.

They get what they wan and council tax payers do not get to foot the bill. If they settle on people's property to avoid paying to settle on council-run sites, their vehicles should be immediately confiscated and a charge of £250 should be paid to free the vehicles from the pound.

They can have their freedom, but they should pay for it, just as we do.
