Transport arrangements for out-patients attending the Royal Sussex County Hospital are becoming unacceptable.

In one case the transport department at the Royal Sussex was informed a week beforehand of an appointment at 11am.

On the day in question no transport arrived. After fruitless telephone calls and repeated assurances it was on the way, an ambulance arrived at 3.45pm, a delay of five and a half hours.
