The Sussex Ambulance Service NHS Trust would like to thank the members of the public who offered their assistance when a car carrying five teenagers plunged over the cliff at
Holywell in Eastbourne on June 27.
The paramedics and other emergency agencies who were initially on the scene were very impressed with the immediate assistance they received.
The calm and efficient manner in which those members of the public continued to help throughout the incident was clearly of great benefit to all the patients involved.
-Chris Ford, Group station ffficer, Sussex Ambulance Service, Eastbourne
