Can any supermarket manager explain why easily damaged fruit and vegetables are usually located in the first aisle of the store, with items getting progressively heavier as you go round, ending up with crates of beer and cases of wine?
By this time you have too much damageable produce to risk ruining it all with heavy items.
Surely supermarkets would sell more if we could put the heavy stuff in first and the fruit, vegetables and bread on top?
