Can it actually be true, someone at long last has a conscience?
East Sussex County Council is now looking to sell off its care homes and is insisting no resident would be forced to move (Argus, June 19).
Having seen at first hand what happened when the council closed some of its homes, it's not just "pretty damaging for the residents" as quoted. In many cases the shock and trauma resulted in death. We now need those people to speak up.
All we want is what these people already have, good quality care.
