A mother-of-four who had tried to take her life numerous times died after taking a drug overdose, an inquest heard.
Tracey King, 35, of Queens Road, Worthing, was found dead at her home on December 4 after her family became concerned about her whereabouts. The Worthing inquest heard Mrs King had a history of mental illness and suffered from depression.
Her father, Gerald King, a retired RAF wing commander, of Lincolnshire, told the hearing his daughter had been adopted at three months old. Mr King said: "Tracey was a very loving and caring person. She loved everybody and everybody loved her."
A note left by her bed read: "Just let me die. It's not worth living any more. If you find me, please be careful of my mouth because I have had dental surgery and it's tender."
West Sussex Coroner Roger Stone said: "I believe she wished to be found, but the room was so secure, no one could get in. The number of tablets she took was considerable." He recorded an open verdict.
