SALTDEAN gained revenge for last year's Vase exit against windsor and Eton when they defeated the Berkshire side 3-1 at Hill Park.
Despite the noon kick-off, Kevin Townsend showed he was wide awake when he fired his team ahead after five minutes.
Saltdean's tally was doubled on 15 minutes when Leighton Allen latched on to a Darren Longley cross to loop a header beyond the Windsor keeper.
The Tigers went
further ahead on 66 minutes after Windsor defender Chris
Ferguson turned a Sean Randall cross into his own net.
The visitors pulled one back two minutes later when Greg Duffy side-footed home David Greene's pass.
However, this turned out to be a mere consolation for the Berkshire outfit as Saltdean shut up shop and sat back to protect their lead. The result was also revenge for Saltdean who lost to Windsor in the same competition last year.
