ARGUS girl Yudi Lowe says it with flowers as she gives this year's Brighton and Hove in Bloom competition a boost.

The eye-catching advertising girl is showing off our very own Argus Trophy, which is just one of a glittering array of prizes up for grabs.

The cup will be given to the individual or organisation that has done the most to further the competition this year.

And the winner will receive the trophy and a £250 cheque at a special prize-giving ceremony on September 11.

Elsa Gillio, sales and promotion manager at the Argus, said: "The Argus supports those people who make the most of their environment and we are very pleased to be involved in the Brighton and Hove in Bloom competition this year."

Some of the categories for this year's competition include best front garden, best window box and balcony display and best commercial frontage.

The competition was set up by the Brighton and Hove in Bloom working group, which is made up of traders, residents, community groups and councillors.
