I read with interest the small article in The Argus (Saturday, July 2) about Brighton and Hove City Council deciding to prosecute illegal Parking by people on "the school run".

The article did not specify what illegal parking constituted but may I suggest a few of the following?

Parking on verges, on zig-zag lines, on pavements, on corners and blocking driveways. Plus, for verbally abusing and threatening any local resident who has the temerity to point out they are in breach of regulations.

Adur Council, please take note of the Brighton decision and implement a similar, strict regime.
