In reply to Peter Reeves (Letters, August 20), I would just like to say I have never criticised the dedication or cleanliness of any NHS employee (doctors through to cleaners).

Nor have I criticised any of the NHS in-hospital treatment I received during my seven months at Hurstwood Park Neurological and Southlands Rehabilitation Hospitals.

My previous letter (August 13) was aimed at the moaners and groaners who seem to be constantly criticising the NHS and asked would, if they became seriously ill themselves, they really refuse emergency NHS treatment?
