It was a pity Steve Taylor (Letters, August 19) didn't plan his return journey from the Eastbourne air show and save himself much frustration.
Everybody knows Sunday evening is not the optimum time to travel by bus, something to do with drivers' overtime pay.
He could have left Eastbourne by train at 8.20pm, arrived in Brighton at 9.05pm and taken the 14A bus to Saltdean, after having an utterly exciting day out.
