Coming to the end of a video shoot from Eastbourne, along the beautiful beaches to Brighton Marina, I was disappointed to see so few people using the newly-refurbished undercliff walk between Saltdean and the marina.
I assume many people think the walk is closed since the cliff fall in the marina, which is currently being worked on.
However, access is available via the boardwalk in the marina, which takes one to the eastern arm of the harbour where one rejoins the undercliffe walks, which is best when the tide is out. Wheelchair access is available.
There are cafes en-route, certainly in summer months, though sadly Saltdean's is shut and in a sorry state.
A sign on a wall says "keep off the rocks" but I think this refers to the leftovers of the harbour arm construction.
Rocks are an attraction but one must use caution and wear sensible shoes. On one occasion, I was lying down spread-eagled across my tripod viewing the Seven Sisters from an unusual angle.
Huge sums of money have been spent maintaining the coastline and I hope people will take advantage of the beauty I have captured on some 13 hours of video tape.
