I am tracing my family tree and would appreciate any information on Eliza Foster, who born either in 1851 or 1852 in Peasmarsh, near Rye.
Her father's name was Edward and all I know of her is that in 1861 she was in Rye Union workhouse, perhaps with two younger siblings (their relationship isn't stated in the census info).
In 1871 she was in service, then in 1875 she married Alfred Merricks Monk in Rye.
Alfred and Eliza are my great great-grandparents and I need Eliza's mother's name to be able to trace her side of my family.
At the moment I cannot find her birth details to order her birth certificate. If anyone can help I would be most grateful.
