I am always suspicious of letters which begin "As a football supporter", and Charles Brewerton (Letters, October 14) confirmed my fears.
We are currently awaiting the result of the public inquiry into the sites for a stadium and yet Mr Brewerton thinks we should abandon Falmer and go elsewhere.
What is this place Mr Brewerton knows of? I am sure the Albion board and John Prescott would be interested to know.
All the locations named at the inquiry were found wanting, except Falmer.
As regards Mr Lee (Letters, October 14), why shouldn't Michael Foot voice his opinion? He attended the Plymouth match recently and had to put up with the appalling conditions.
